FOOD
Meals are all taken, except if requested otherwise, at the communal table. The meals are balanced and copious made with quality produce that compliment regional specialities. Breakfast is copious: fromage blanc, cheese, organic cereals, “charcuterie”, fruit juice, honey, jam.
Vegetarians are welcome – Just let us know at the time of booking – So we can get supplies.
ACTIVITIES
Welcome drink, themed videos, volcanism evening, slide shows, Cantal cheese making, astronomy etc not forgetting making your own entertainment.
THE STAY
The length of the stay, excluding exceptions, and unless stated (stays without activity, short stays, mini-weeks) is the following Saturday after breakfast (rooms vacated at 10 AM at the latest).
The activities start on Sunday morning and finish on Friday evening. A free day, usually Wednesday, is planned. Three evening activities are planned
THE PRICES OF STAYS WITH ACTIVITIES
They are presented on the basis of two people sharing and as part of a package that includes:
- Full-Board (wine included with meals in the restaurant), sheets, napkins and towels supplied. Rooms are cleaned before arrival and in the middle of your story as are towels (bathrooms and toilets are cleaned every day). Extra linen changes on request with a supplement.
- Evening activities
- The supervision of activities by a qualified professional
- The provision of all necessary equipment for activities (unless stated otherwise) except walking shoes and back-packs
- Our free shuttle (MURAT Station-LAVEISSIERE and back) on Saturdays and Sundays for the 18:12 and 10:46 trains.
For arrivals and departures differents and depending on availability, remember to give us prior notice.
- The establishments free transport (within their capacity (9 and 21 seats)
These prices, unless otherwise stated, do not include drinks and other personal expenditure (payment at the end of stay), the contribution to the up-keep of the cross-country ski pistes (26 € a week, tourist tax (0.60 € per adult per day), cancellation and “repatriation” insurance.
Single guests can avoid the (single occupancy) supplement (13 € per day) by sharing their room.
REDUCTIONS for the third and fourth person sharing a room are the following: under 2 years of age = free accommodation. From 2 to 14 years 50 % reduction, over 14 years 20 % reduction (this does not apply to groups).
NEW YERS EVE
A supplement of 20 € per person will be requested for all stays of less than 5 nights.
ANIMALS
For reasons of security during the activities, they are not accepted.
LEVEL OF FITNESS
A good physical condition is necessary to be able to enjoy your chosen activity. To maximise enjoyment, remember whenever it’s possible to walk quickly, do some jogging take the stairs rather than the lift.

WHAT WE ADVISE YOU TO BRING (not a full list)
1. Walking:
- High Sided mountain boots with notched soles
- A comfortable back-pack (30 litres) to hold the following and your lunch
- A water bottle or thermos (1 litre minimum)
- A plate or small “Tupperware”, knife and fork, cups for the picnic, napkins
- Wet weather clothing – warm clothing
- Sun glasses
- Light gloves
- Toilet paper
- Personal pharmacy: Sun cream/pain killers/anti-sceptic, plasters, etc.
- Depending on your tastes – cereal bars, dry fruit, drinks
- A pair of binoculars ?
2. Snowshoes: the same equipment, plus
- Shoes must be waterproof
- A back-pack a little larger (40 litres)
- A woolly-hat or balaclava
- Mittens or mountain gloves (remember a light pair to charge into)
- A pair of silk gloves
- A water proof jacket and trousers
- Leggings
- Plastic bags
3. Cross-country ski-ing: Snow Shoo equipment plus
- A cross-country ski suit, (avoid alpine ski-suits as too warm)
- Choose cross country Ski gloves rather than mittens or mountain gloves
- A passport/identity photo
- A plate or Tupperware box, knife and fork, cups and napkin.
