A cross-country ski instructor, Luc will (re)introduce you to the beauty of a snow covered Cantal whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. With him you’ll (re)discover he pleasure of gliding in silence and in safety over plateaux and under huge trees.
For this week we propose 4 to 5 hours of Ski-ing per day, a lot of gliding and good humour, a little technique (traditional and skating) to progress and have fun-not forgetting the mulled wine by the fire afterwards.
Depending on the weather and your desires we will leave for the day and share a picnic lunch in a refuge or in a mountain restaurant.
PROGRAMME (depending on the weather):
- Sunday: welcome drink, dinner and presentation of your stay
- Monday: (re) introduction to the snow and basic techniques at Prat de Bouc
- Tuesday: exploring the glacial cirque of font d’Alagnon and the forest domain of Murat
- Wednesday: the high valley of the Cere and the plateau of Frau de Collanges
- Thursday: Mandailles Valley by the Col du Gliziou
- Friday: The glacial cirque of Eylac at the foot of the Puy Mary (1 787m)
- Saturday: departure after breakfast
