Walking and drawing (12 - 18 July) Ref: RDES 17

Learn to better see and observe nature around us, the land that holds us and the inhabitants that greet us.
Thats what Eliane, Monique and Luc propose with 5 days devoted to walking and drawing.

Monique (School of applied arts and national higher school of decorative arts) will introduce you to the techniques of drawing and depending on your tastes and ambitions will teach you to use lead pencil, red chalk, china ink and colour with dry pastels.

You will alternate

• 5 drawing workshops of around 3 hours (3 indoors, 2 outside)
• 4 walks of around 3 hours.

The success of these days relies on each participant being guided individually by the instructor, in order to discover and master his own artistic expression to achieve this, we have deliberately limited the number of participants to 12.

The list of necessary material will be sent to you at the time of booking.

PROGRAMME:

• Sunday: welcome drink, dinner and presentations
• Monday: indoor drawing workshop, then afternoon walk
• Tuesday: indoor drawing workshop, then afternoon walk
• Wednesday: indoor drawing workshop, then afternoon walk
• Thursday: outdoor drawing workshop, free afternoon
• Friday: outdoor drawing workshop, then afternoon walk
• Saturday: departure after breakfast
