Stags and mushrooms: Autumn walking

Wild cherry and blood red rowans , maples on fire, yellowing beech, scarlet blueberry bushes: the whohe landscape has suddenly changed.
It’s also the mushroom season and the time when the stags call (bell): it’s not rare to see and hear them from the dining room or your bedroom.

For us it’s a magic time before the big sleep of winter to come: enjoy it !

PROGRAMME (depending on the weather):

• Saturday: Welcome drink, dinner, presentation of stay
• Sunday: Forests and peat bogs in autumn
• Monday: Puy Griou (1 670 m) in the morning and/or listening to and watching the stags and does (return at night – head lamps supplied)
• Tuesday: autumn gathering (mushrooms)
• Wednesday: free day withthe possibility of lunch at LAVEISSIERE
• Thursday: Plomb du Cantal (1 855 m) – looking for moufflons
• Friday: Chamois and Stags around the Puy Mary (1787 m)
• Saturday: Departure after breakfast
