Wild cherry and blood red rowans , maples on fire, yellowing beech, scarlet blueberry bushes: the whohe landscape has suddenly changed.
It’s also the mushroom season and the time when the stags call (bell): it’s not rare to see and hear them from the dining room or your bedroom.
For us it’s a magic time before the big sleep of winter to come : enjoy it !
PROGRAMME (depending on the weather):
- Saturday : Welcome drink, dinner, presentation of stay
- Sunday : Forests and peat bogs in autumn
- Monday : Puy Griou (1 670 m) in the morning and/or listening to and watching the stags and does (return at night – head lamps supplied)
- Tuesday : autumn gathering (mushrooms)
- Wednesday : free day withthe possibility of lunch at LAVEISSIERE
- Thursday : Plomb du Cantal (1 855 m) – looking for moufflons
- Friday : Chamois and Stags around the Puy Mary (1787 m)
- Saturday : Departure after breakfast
